I saw this great advertisement for Google Chrome the other day, but it’s also a great testimonial for the value of online ratings and reviews. It’s the story of a new hot dog restaurant in Austin, called Frank’s, that became successful because of the great word of mouth it generated online. Online ratings and reviews can help your business too — if you’re willing to put a little work into it.
It still surprises me that large numbers of small businesses work hard at building old fashioned word of mouth, but they ignore the Internet. When they do, they’re ignoring the tool that’s increased the power and reach of word of mouth a hundred-fold.
If you’re unsure of how to begin, give me a call at 979-531-8300. We’ll start getting online word of mouth working for your business.
